We’ve been busy

We’ve been doing as much as we can, so no time to post or write. On a plane to Ireland now so will catch up a bit.

Oxford:
We stopped at the Eagle and the Child, which is where C.S.Lewis and JRR Tolkien used to meet to read drafts of their novels to each other.

Eagle and the Child

Oxford today. Went to the Eagle and the Child for a pint, which Tolkien and C.S. Lewis used to refer to as the bird and the baby when they’d read drafts aloud to one another.
Brian also bought a french edition of The Hobbit for me so if you know me, you know how pleased I am (travel, Tolkien, Lewis, beer, French, Brian).
