Finally got to check out Revolution Hall, which is predictably cool. I am so glad they saved and repurposed that building. It was formerly a high school, and I have friends whose relatives graduated from there. I would drive by it on my way home as it sat empty and it always seemed a shame. Not a small project though, they had to retrofit it for earthquake safety, not cheap. The view from the second floor bar was great, overlooking a dog park with great views of downtown, so I am excited to see the rooftop bar this summer.
We were there to see Dylan Moran. He was as funny as I thought he’d be, although some of his “I’m old” jokes bother me as we are the same age.
Some quotes on the building I liked. It was dark, forgive the blurriness.
